A perfect example of “Two-Tier Keir”, writes J Stewart on X. He is one of many who have noticed Starmer’s astonishing hypocrisy when it comes to the Prime Minister’s differing reactions in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death versus Henry Nowak.
J Stewart writes:
Video 1 (2020): Starmer viciously attacks Trump for his response to the rioters after George Floyd’s death, calling it an “affront to humanity” and defending the unrest as “peaceful protests” by people “rightly demanding justice”.
🚨STARMER’S BLATANT HYPOCRISY EXPOSED! 🤔

Keir Starmer said:
Like you, I was shocked and appalled by the killing of George Floyd. And the response from President Trump and the American authorities to the peaceful protests, to people rightly demanding justice, has been an affront to humanity.
J Stewart goes on to write that in the aftermath of the murder of Henry Nowak, Starmer condemns the “shameful” rioters. The Prime Minister says:
However much pain we feel, there is no justification for violence and disorder. Let me be clear: We will ensure that anyone caught participating in disorder faces the full force of the law.
Why this obvious double standard, Keir? asks J Stewart. Are riots wrong, or are they not?
Keir’s double standard has been exposed to the entire world, J Stewart concludes. The Prime Minister is shocked and appalled and calls Trump’s heavy-handed measures an affront to humanity, but now he is cracking down hard when people demand justice for Henry Nowak.
– Is Starmer the affront to humanity?
J Stewart is not the only one who has noticed Starmer’s hypocrisy, which is going viral on both X and YouTube. The fact that he took the knee for George Floyd has not gone unnoticed either.

The hypocrisy becomes even more obvious when one considers that last week Starmer condemned the statements of US Vice President JD Vance, who blamed immigration for the murder of Henry Nowak.
He himself, and most European leaders, have for years had no problem condemning the United States under Trump, just as he did in 2020.
At the same time, he described the protests as peaceful, while more than 2,000 police officers were injured already in the first weeks of the protests, which ultimately lasted for several months.
It is impossible fully to describe the enormous damage caused by the 2020 riots, but this short video shows the aftermath in Minneapolis after one night of protests.
So while Starmer and other elitists in Europe took the knee, cities all across America were burning.
