JD Vance and Elon Musk are rolling out the heavy artillery when characterising the treatment of Henry Nowak. They do not need a megaphone. Keir Starmer’s government has landed itself in a PR catastrophe, but instead of acknowledging it, they attack the critics.
JD Vance follows Europe particularly closely. He has shown that he is on the side of the opposition. He is not loved in Brussels, Paris, Berlin, or London.
A power struggle is unfolding. European heads of government demand/expect that Vance keep his mouth shut. They take criticism badly. They themselves have no problem with their state press humiliating and denigrating the American President every single day. There is never a peep that such a free expression of Trump Derangement Syndrome is hardly the smartest strategy towards Europe’s only vital ally. The thought does not appear to have crossed either politicians or editors. Quite the opposite.
The campaign to declare Trump mentally unfit and ready for involuntary commitment rolls on day after day.

In the series “Small journalists make themselves look big at the expense of a powerful President who cannot defend himself”, tabloid Dagbladet is a typical example: “-The Man is completely Nuts”. Similar headlines can be found throughout the mainstream media in the Nordic countries.
But if Vance dares to criticise British police for handcuffing a murder victim who says he cannot breathe, it is Vance whom they attack.
The reaction to Henry Nowak’s fate says much about how divided Europe is, and about how great the distance is between the people and the elite.
The incredible thing is that the elite do not understand that they are increasing the polarisation and digging themselves even deeper down.
When Vance and Elon Musk have their say, it is almost as if they can say: “We shall bury you in your own hole”.
Starmer, Macron, Merz, Støre, Frederiksen, Henriksson, and von der Leyen have single-handedly dug themselves into their own hole. It is self-inflicted.
Now the people say: “We do not wish to die together with you. We no longer wish to be cannon fodder for your catastrophic experiment”.
Henry Nowak’s death may come to have a far-reaching effect. He has become a symbol of a policy that sacrifices the population on the altar of colonisation.
On Thursday, the State Department offered its condolences to the British.
“Ideological indoctrination and double standards in the police are clear signs of civilisational decline,” the State Department wrote on Thursday in a post on X that has gone viral. “This must be rejected throughout the West. The United States sends its condolences to the family of Henry Nowak and the British people during this difficult time.”
Downing Street perceived this as a slap in the face.
“In recent days, we have seen people trying to interfere in our democracy and attempting to create division in our streets,” said a spokesperson for Downing Street.
European leaders see the speck in another’s eye, but not the beam in their own.
Downing Street places the Nowak family in front of itself.
“The Nowak family are grieving following the horrific murder of Henry. They have said that they do not wish for his death to be used to create further division, hatred, or tension. We should respect their wishes,” the statement continued. “Our policies should bring people together, even under the most terrible circumstances. That is what defines us as a nation.”
Crocodile tears and helpless blows in the air. Vance can press the attack against a British Prime Minister who is going down for the count:
“Henry Nowak died in the same way that a civilisation dies: abandoned, placed in handcuffs by authorities who neither trusted nor cared about him, and accused of a hate crime he had not committed,” Vance wrote on X in an extensive post in which he addressed crime abroad.
“His murder is as tragic as it is outrageous,” the Vice President continued. “He should still be alive today, and he would be if the last generations of European elites had resisted the policies of self-hatred and the mass immigration of migrants, many of whom despise the West and those who love it.”
The European elite cannot tolerate this criticism. It is like picking at an open wound that they themselves are unable to close. They only make matters worse with every rape, every stabbing, and every vehicle attack.
Everyone remembers George Floyd’s “I can’t breathe!”. But when a white boy says it, the police are even more merciless than Derek Chauvin was.
When Nowak told the police officers that he had been stabbed, one of them could be heard dismissing him with: “I don’t believe you have, mate.” The young student bled to death while in police custody.
It was the matey “mate”, at the same time as they forced his arms behind his back in order to handcuff him, that sealed Nowak’s fate – and perhaps also that of Starmer and the British elite? Nowak’s death may become a milestone.
Elected representatives in Congress are aware of Starmer’s Online Safety Act of 2023, which uses police to arrest people for expressions on social media.
“The United Kingdom has a regime willing to imprison people for tweets, but not willing to protect its own citizens from bleeding to death in the street,” he said in response to the State Department post. “Henry Nowak deserved better. This is what civilisational decline looks like. This is the future that the Left is trying to impose. We must stop it!”

Elon Musk is merciless, as merciless as the state religion he sees emerging in Europe.
“Send the video to everyone you know, showing how horribly Nowak was treated by the police in his final moments and how the police cowardly bowed to his murderer,” he wrote in a post viewed 28 million times. “The legacy mass media, the same ones that wrote about George Floyd millions of times, are completely silent about Nowak.”
“The West has created a completely evil state religion in which an accusation of ‘racism’ is the most serious crime one can commit, even worse than rape or murder!” he said in another post. “So if police arrive at a crime scene and a British boy is bleeding to death, and a migrant says that the British boy is racist, then the police will place the dying British boy in handcuffs.”
Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter changed freedom of speech in the West. Without X, we would be in a far worse position.
The European elite have no scruples about throttling freedom of speech.
I can’t breathe!
