A Left Party (V) politician on Upplands Väsby’s education committee threatened to kill a 16-year-old during an SD election meeting on Sunday. The following dialogue took place between citizen journalist Christian Peterson and the Left Party’s Yakira Pulido Moreno (29). The V politician said:
– Do you know what you do with racists? You kill them.
– So you want to kill this little girl?
– I want to kill all racists.
– You just called her a Nazi. So you want to kill this girl?
– Okay. Good.
When the situation escalated, four police officers had to carry the politician away from the scene. The video is now spreading on social media.
Pulido Moreno was carrying a Palestinian flag while verbally attacking a 16-year-old girl belonging to the Sweden Democrats’ youth organisation, Ungsvenskarna. The Left Party politician believed that the 16-year-old was a Nazi because she belonged to “a Nazi party”.
Yakira Pulido Moreno then maintained that she wanted to kill the girl, and repeated that it was right to kill all racists.
Peterson asked Pulido Moreno whether she believes that criminal immigrants should be allowed to remain in Sweden and whether immigrants who, for example, commit gang rapes have abused Sweden’s trust. Pulido Moreno responded by beginning to blow a whistle, thereby disrupting the election meeting and Peterson.
Four police officers then had to carry the Left Party politician away from the scene. As Pulido Moreno was being carried away, she was asked whether she still sits on the municipality’s education committee.
– Of course I do, she replied.
The question is whether she will remain in her position after Sunday’s remarks. The clip is now going viral, and reactions on social media are strong.
At the same time, the 16-year-old who received the death threat observed that different rules seem to apply to the parties’ supporters.
– People on the right respect everyone’s opinions, for example if someone says they are left-wing … It’s not as though I’m going to go and threaten to kill them and things like that. But the problem with the left is that they cannot even accept an opinion.
