TERMS FOR DOCUMENT PLUS

Document Plus is a digital subscription service supplied by Document Media AS (“Document”). Document Plus includes the Standard, Premium, VIP, and Business subscription plans. These terms govern the purchase and use of Document Plus. By using the service, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Purchasing a subscription

A subscription gives you access to the service until it is cancelled. Individual subscriptions are personal and may not be shared. A Business subscription provides access to several individual users and is paid for by a company or organization; each user’s access remains personal and may not be shared.

Subscriptions run for the period stated in the order and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 48 hours before the end of the current period. You must create an account and are responsible for keeping its information correct and protecting its credentials.

2. Prices

Current prices for the available plans are shown on Document’s subscription page. The service is currently exempt from Norwegian VAT. Document may change prices with 14 days’ notice. You may cancel when a price changes, effective from the date the new price takes effect. Voluntary one-off donations are not governed by these terms and do not provide access to the service.

3. Changes

Document may change or discontinue products, services, or combinations of them. If a change affects your product or service, we will notify you at the email address registered to your account. Document may also amend these terms.

4. Right of withdrawal

Norwegian cancellation law gives consumers the right to withdraw from the purchase of a subscription product by notifying us within 14 days after the order is activated.

5. Complaints

The customer and Document should first attempt to resolve disagreements amicably. Norwegian consumers may contact the Norwegian Consumer Council. Different rules apply to business subscriptions, which are governed by Norwegian sales law.

6. Intellectual property

Document Media AS owns the intellectual property rights in the service and Document Plus content. Purchasing or using a subscription does not transfer ownership or grant a licence to those rights. Trademarks and logos displayed on Document Media websites or through Document Plus belong to Document Media AS.

7. Privacy

When you purchase access or use our websites, we process the personal data required to supply the purchased service and, where permitted, send relevant offers. See our Privacy Policy for details.

9. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time, but no later than 48 hours before the subscription renews. Cancel by contacting us at kontakt@document.no.

10. Liability

Document Media AS aims to provide Document Plus professionally. Updates and maintenance may occasionally make the service unavailable, and Document may temporarily suspend it. Document Plus may link to third-party websites; Document Media AS is not responsible for their content. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Document Media AS is not liable for damage or loss of profit arising from use of the service.

11. Breach

If these terms are breached or reasonably suspected to have been breached, Document may terminate the subscription immediately, notify the registered email address, and refuse creation of another account.

12. Governing law and venue

This agreement is governed by Norwegian law. Oslo District Court is Document’s agreed venue, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
