The Palestinian-American activist Aber Kawas won the election to the New York State Senate on Tuesday after receiving support from New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
Just like Mamdani and other far-left actors affiliated with the Democrats, such as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Kawas belongs to the radical far-left movement Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). After she won the Senate election, the New York chapter of DSA wrote on X:
«Palestine was on the ballot, and now a Palestinian-American democratic socialist is going to Albany. Kawas is exactly the person New Yorkers need to fight for them in the state senate. Because socialists get things done.»

Kawas’s election campaign was marked by controversies. Among other things, she blamed the terror attacks of 11 September on capitalism, racism and white supremacy, and dismissed it as an attack «that a couple of people were behind», writes Breitbart News.
«Capitalism, racism, white supremacy … and Islamophobia – all these systems have been used to colonise land areas and to take resources from other peoples. This is thus a long-term development, and what we see with 11 September is only the outer expression of this development continuing.
The idea that we must apologise for a terror attack that a couple of persons were behind, while there is no apology or compensation for genocide and slavery … is something I find reprehensible.»
Meet Aber Kawas, everyone!
In this video, Aber Kawas, the one “running to be the first Palestinian Muslim woman elected in New York State”, literally explains how the 9/11 attacks that killed nearly 3,000 Americans were the “manifestation” of America’s “system of capitalism,… https://t.co/8MeGwWdqMI pic.twitter.com/hu3W3MWp25

It is clear that Kawas lets herself be inspired by the terror group Hamas, which she herself probably regards as freedom fighters. In any case she has no problem posing while waving a headband of the type used by the terrorists.

With such fine and engaged politicians it is obvious that both the residents and the Democrats in the state of New York can expect a bright future. The entire state is being hit by radical forces.
In the city of New York itself it is the leading star and Mayor Zohran Mamdani who is steering the ship, something Oslo’s Mayor Anne Lindboe appears to appreciate greatly.
Lindboe is currently in New York to watch the football World Cup at the taxpayers’ expense. There she also met Mamdani. On Facebook she writes enthusiastically:
«Inspiring meeting with NYC Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani. He is probably about as close as you can get to a rock star in American politics and very interested in both football and the Norwegian welfare model.
NYC is almost “little Oslo” these days, and he was mightily impressed by our football lads and Norwegian fans who are rowing around in his streets.»
Lindboe concludes thus: «Now I shall return to Oslo and celebrate Pride.»
