The Epstein files continue to hold surprises: The two children of Terje Rød-Larsen and Mona Juul each received $5 million in Epstein’s will, which he signed two days before he died. No explanation has been given as to why these children were favoured.
The document released on Friday by the US authorities in connection with the so-called Epstein papers shows that the diplomat couple’s two children were to receive a total of USD 10 million.
“We are only aware of the information about the will through the media. Beyond this, the family does not wish to comment further on this matter,” says Mona Juul in a message sent to the newspaper by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The couple apologise for their connection to Epstein. What the media does not mention is that Rød-Larsen borrowed money from Epstein for his foundation, the International Peace Institute, which also received NOK 130 million from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Rød-Larsen refused to explain the use of the money to the board and was fired. Now Epstein reappears in an unknown context: The children were heirs.
Is Mona Juul compromised through her husband Terje Rød-Larsen?
