When one hears about the breakdown of French society in connection with the recent riots, one inevitably thinks of W.B. Yeats’s line from the poem ‘The Second Coming’: ‘More anarchy is loosed upon the world.’
It is difficult to say how many people perceive the situation in this way. People are, after all, creatures who cling to a more or less imagined state of normality, until one day they wake up and are forced to acknowledge that the old world has vanished from beneath their feet.
To their horror, they must realise that the social order they took for granted has disintegrated and been replaced by a radically different political reality. Namely, a state of affairs without a functioning democracy, without the rule of law and without law enforcement capable of, or willing to, protect them from criminals.
Very few people realise how quickly this can happen.
One notices that it has become unsafe to walk the streets after dark; one hears that people from different cultural backgrounds are over-represented in crime statistics and constitute a burden on society.
One senses that one can no longer speak one’s mind freely, because one must constantly fear falling into the clutches of activist media, politicians, the police and the judiciary.
A whole industry of informers and lawyers has sprung up, lying in wait to make a quick buck by reporting their fellow citizens for expressing the ‘wrong’ opinions.
The prosecution service is all too willing to drag the bold before the courts, and in the media – which has also joined the ranks of the new Mohammedan morality police – there is no help to be had if one has crossed the boundaries set by the Islamo-socialist phalanx.
But for the time being, it is a gradual process which will, however, one day turn into a revolution.
As the old Marxists used to say: Quantity turns into quality. At first, it is just a bit more of the same: a few more kowtows to Islam, a couple of extra slices of salami, a little more Muslim immigration, a little more acceptance of Mohammedan norms, a little more uncertainty.
But social order still exists – until the day it no longer does. The shift from quantity to quality happens in the blink of an eye, and few realise it before it has happened.
In countries such as England, France, Germany and Sweden, it is all over. The old nation states that still existed 50 years ago have disintegrated and can hardly be saved.
The future belongs to the most determined and well-armed street fighters – particularly in the form of Muslim warriors and their Marxist allies. On paper, there will still be a force of law and order, and the state will claim a monopoly on the use of force – knowing full well that it lacks the power to defeat its challengers.
Politicians, the media and the state’s servants claim that they could not have foreseen the consequences of their immigration policy. They could not help but believe that Muslims would be willing to assimilate once they gained access to the West and embraced our values.
Unfortunately, our rulers’ historical knowledge is limited to what has happened since the last election. They have no interest in Islam’s 1,400-year history of influence, and they cannot be bothered to familiarise themselves with Muhammad’s bloodthirsty commands. For in the newspaper *Politiken* they can read that there is nothing to see.
How will it end? Either with total surrender to the barbarians or armed resistance.
