The new Danish government wants to abolish agriculture and has therefore closed down the Ministry of Agriculture. In its government programme, Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has also removed Christianity and closed down the Ministry of Church Affairs, which has now been downgraded to a modest department under the Ministry of the Interior. It is so insignificant that it does not even have a permanent secretary.
Previously there was otherwise agreement at Christiansborg that in Denmark there was freedom of religion, but not equality of religions. This is also stated clearly and explicitly in section 4 of the Constitution, which establishes that the Evangelical-Lutheran Church is the Danish People’s Church and is supported by the state.
It is no longer so. With the OIC (Organisation of Islamic Cooperation) behind it, the Muslim Community has for many years worked to have Islam recognised as a “People’s Church” on equal footing with the Danish People’s Church. With around 500,000 active Muslim believers in Denmark, the Islamic leaders consider it a reasonable demand that Islam should receive the same rights and status as the People’s Church, which today can scarcely mobilise 500,000 practising Christians. In Islam there is no such thing as “equal footing”. Either Islam dominates, or Islam is dominated.
By removing the traditional wording in the government foundation that Denmark is a Christian country, the Social Liberals and the Red-Green Alliance have achieved a decisive breakthrough for their many Islamic voters. If we no longer recognise Denmark as a Christian country, we also do not profess the Christian view of humanity and Christian ethics, which precisely distinguish Christianity from Islam, which is more a totalitarian ideology than merely a faith.
Even the many modern, non-believing Danes are children of Christian culture, which is the origin of the democratic constitutional state. The breakthrough occurred in the 1770s, when American Founding Fathers such as Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin and George Washington asked themselves: “If all men are equal before God, why can they not be equal before men?” The answer came in the American Declaration of Independence: “All men are created equal and have been endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights.” Here the Christian view of humanity merged with modern democracy and created the foundation for all subsequent elected constitutional states.
One of the chief architects behind the political downgrading of the People’s Church is the new Minister of Culture Zenia Stampe, who writes on Facebook: “Denmark is not a Christian country. Denmark is a diverse country, and the Danes are in many different ways.” Stampe here demonstrates that she is a faithful disciple of the established political truth that Islam is a faith in the same way as Christianity, something which aligns well with the attitude of the UN, which maintains that any criticism of Islam should be regarded as Islamophobia. Media and politicians have out of convenience made themselves deaf and blind to the truth and stubbornly refuse to see Islam for what it is: a totalitarian ideology and a fascist dominance regime, consisting of a fanatical personality cult and a political doctrine wrapped in a faith.
If we look at the profound difference between the Christian cultural view and the Islamic dominance ideology, there is no better starting point than Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, where he presents Christian values on a silver platter: “Blessed are the poor in spirit, those who mourn, the meek, the merciful and the peacemakers. Love your enemies. Bless those who curse you, and pray for those who persecute you. Then you will be children of your heavenly Father; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.”
The music is quite different in Islam, where there is not a single verse in the Koran that commands Muslims to love anyone outside their own ranks. There are almost 500 verses that describe Allah’s hatred of the infidels and encourage hatred towards them. Islam is a legal, political, economic, social and military system in religious packaging. Here are a few choice excerpts from Islam’s holy scriptures, to which every Muslim is subject. Islam is not about Allah’s love for mankind, but about hatred of the infidels and war against them:
Koran, sura 9:5: You shall kill those who set others alongside Allah wherever you find them, besiege them and lay in wait for them. Koran, sura 98:6-7: Those who are infidels are in the fire of hell, and there they shall remain for all eternity. Koran, sura 4:56: Allah: “Those who do not believe, We shall burn in the fire. Every time their skin is burnt through, We give them a new skin, so that they may taste the punishment.”
Muslim 001,0031: Muhammad: “I have been commanded to wage war against mankind until they acknowledge that there is no other god than Allah.” Bukhari 4, 52,142: Muhammad: “To fight the infidels for just one day is greater than the whole earth and everything on it.”
There are more Jew-hating passages in the Koran than in Hitler’s “Mein Kampf”.
When the government removes Christian culture from its political and ethical standpoint, what do we put in its place? An ethical fruit salad of cowardly tolerance towards Islam’s dominance, political rulings from Strasbourg, the Marrakesh Treaty, the Koran law and the politicians’ and media’s unhappy love for those who hate us?
When one thinks of the misfortunes that our new Minister of Culture has already managed to cause, one must for once acknowledge the Prophet’s wise words from Islam’s holy book about the traditions (hadith): “Do not teach women to write. Teach them to spin.”
