The Democrats and the left-liberals are on the verge of panic. Trump survives everything. It has just become known that Cole Allen (31) left behind a manifesto that reeks of anti-Christian and anti-Trump rhetoric. Family members contacted the police because he was constantly talking about “doing something” to stop what he opposed.
But is that not precisely what everything from the New York Times to Aftenposten and NRK have been chanting? “Is he mad?” asked NRK’s Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide, who did not dismiss the question. That was, after all, a pure bonus, seen from his side.
The media and the politicians have not acknowledged that they are in the process of digging themselves into a rabbit hole, and that they are going ever deeper down.
The rhetoric is becoming increasingly wild.
Dagbladet has had Putin on its front page every single day for 180 days, but grew tired of it. Now it is Trump, who is receiving the same treatment as Putin.

-The man is completely nuts (Headline in Norwegian tabloid Dagbladet)
What if an assassin were to succeed? Would Norwegian media then be reproached, or would they be so united in their bloodlust that no one would remind them that they have instigated a political assassination that may have fateful consequences for the West?
Dagbladet was particularly venomous on Saturday. Now the struggle against Trump is being compared with the struggle against Hitler.

-We helped the world getting rid of Hitler. Please help us get rid of Trump. (Norwegian tabloid Dagbladet)
The comparison with Hitler is not unique. It is what the teacher told our children at St. Sunniva Catholic School at the time. The trick used in media and teaching is to say that “many” believe that Trump is a modern version of Hitler. I asked the teacher to say that “some” believe that, and some believe something else. When such assertions come from the lectern, the school is responsible for them. But has any school or teacher been reprimanded? This took place many years ago. And since then it has only become worse. Now it is like a single delirium.
Dagbladet’s witness of truth is a peripheral lawyer who worked three-quarters of a year in the White House, from July 2017 to May 2018. He was to review the investigation of Special Counsel Bob Mueller and recommended that Trump sit for an interview, something all others strongly warned against. Cobb believed that Bob Mueller was a good cop, but in reality he was dirty and corrupt.
The fantasies of taking Trump’s life are not new. In the early period, the Shakespeare drama “Julius Caesar” was staged in Central Park. During the performance in May–June 2017, Caesar was made up to resemble Trump. And when he is then stabbed, the intention is not to be mistaken.
Johnny Depp said the same at the Glastonbury Festival that year: “When was the last time an actor assassinated a president?” He was of course referring to the actor John Wilkes Booth, who in 1865 shot the United States’ 16th president, Abraham Lincoln, during a performance at Ford’s Theatre in Washington, D.C.
Trump triggers the left’s fantasies of violence.
Kathy Griffin made Trump’s severed head and dipped it in blood, ISIS-like.

Fredrik Skavlan found this so amusing that he invited her onto his programme.
Writes Martin Sandbu in Aftenposten. The headline on the front page goes further than is warranted, but that is the message Aftenposten wishes to promote.
It is hatred, hatred, and yet more hatred.
What the media do not reflect upon is that their unrestrained depiction of Trump constitutes a breach of the most elementary rules of ordinary decency.
Or is it the case that the journalists wish to demonstrate that they are vested with all power and can take the life of whomever they wish, even if it is the most powerful man in the world? Their power is greater!
There is something pubescent about the journalism, and the press conferences in the White House are as well. When the Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, describes how Obama manipulated intelligence and commissioned a new report intended to bring down Trump on 8 December 2016, the journalists refuse to believe her. They say like small children “but, but, but”. No one is to touch their god, Obama.
It is the ’68ers who are resisting history. Trump is like Gulliver and they are the Lilliputians. They attempt to bind him, but he rises. Again and again.
