Aryna Sabalenka has made it clear that she supports the new mandatory sex testing, which is intended to ensure that men are kept out of women’s sport.
Tennis star Sabalenka, from Belarus, is regarded as one of the world’s best female tennis players. For a brief period in 2021, she was ranked the best in the world.
The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) confirmed last month that players will be tested to confirm that they are in fact women. The aim is simple: to keep male impostors out of women’s competitions.
Sabalenka, who has four Grand Slam titles, supports the WTA:

“I think it’s very important to maintain fairness in our tournament. It’s obvious, biologically, that men are much stronger than women, so I feel it wouldn’t be particularly fair for women to compete against biological men.
I think it took them a while to make this decision, and yes, I support it…. If they want to test us all, I’m happy to do it – it’s quite fair, and let’s keep it that way.”\

Tennis legend Martina Navratilova is among those who have praised the WTA measure, calling it a “step in the right direction”.
The WTA is not alone in attempting to keep men out of women’s sport. The International Olympic Committee has also recently updated its guidelines and \introduced\ sex testing for the forthcoming 2028 Olympic Games, which are to be held in Los Angeles.
The Norwegian Football Federation, with Lise Klaveness at the helm, is, by contrast, one of the sporting federations that wants to continue the destruction of women’s sport. There, the attitude appears to be the classic one: Only trans women are real\ women.
