I decided to take a look at the comments on Document’s Facebook page from late Wednesday evening until Thursday morning. It is no easy job. Facebook provides an overview, but it simply throws all the comments on all the stories together in one place in reverse chronological order, with no logical connection, and you have to scroll down manually to load the stream of comments.
I did not find all that much sewage, it must be said, but I deleted five comments, some of them with – shall we say – a certain animosity towards our administrators. But a great deal of the many hundreds of comments is, after all, sensible content, and even the outbursts from the «grass roots» are not normally disturbingly toxic, although some of it would not have been published on Document’s own website. Some admittedly dream of murderers themselves being executed. Unpleasant, but is it dangerous?
Other observations are like echoes of thoughts I have had myself: «Just go to the shops and look at people. Not much happiness to be seen among ordinary people today.»
Now that I have this minimally censored history on a single page comprising a whole host of screenfuls, it is simply too piquant to throw away after reading it. I copy the whole lot, let AI remove images, graphics, names and emojis, and am left with a long text file that our subscribers can see exclusively below.
But show me the AI that could have replaced the human judgement that removed five comments. If you have it yourself, write to christian@document.no – many thanks!
Not that it would solve the problem that FB only offers retrospective moderation. Anyone wishing to smear us by posting an ugly comment themselves, taking a screenshot and sending it to professional enemies of Document would still have an easy job.
In the absence of certain people’s zealous interest in Document, this is in any case a history that disappears after a couple of weeks. That is also some consolation considering the sewage that actually does come in. But I wonder whether this is really any worse than what one finds on other media outlets’ Facebook pages, if there is any engagement there at all?

It concerns a calculated net difference between public expenditure and tax payments over a lifetime, not a bill that women impose on men.
The difference is mainly due to women having lower employment income on average and therefore paying less tax, partly because they work more part-time, and because women live longer and therefore receive pensions, health and care services for more years.

As long as Norway is governed according to the composition of the Storting from the last election and is out of step with the people, the transport organisations should take action and stop all transport for 3 days. Norwegians say no to such governance. Out of the EEA, bilateral agreements with each individual country. We quite simply do not have men in parliament, grounded in the Christian faith. Who have Norway’s God with them. BUT we have some promising ones, if only they get the chance. Those who will not fight for Norway and Norway’s constitution should be relieved of duty voluntarily or by force/reassignment.

Welcome to the party…. I’ve been saying this for 7–8 years. Because it’s very easy to see who has been doing what in recent years.
After Norway’s NO in 1994, there was a flood of gloomy predictions from the YES side about how badly things would go in Norway. The exact opposite happened, a long period of growth came, and it lasted right up until the final four-year term of the Solberg government. Since then it has only gone downhill, at least for Norwegian citizens.
A bit comical that this gets posted when immigrants in sweden rape Swedish women virtually every day.

No to the EU and the EEA agreement and give sovereignty back to Norway

Welcome to the party! This has been said for a long time. Men and the “manosphere” in particular have pointed this out for the last 10–15 years. This is much of the reason why many women frantically want to censor the internet and social media endlessly.

If you want important, real and credible news then alternative media are very important for our democracy. TV2 and NRK are absent when it comes to the truth about the real threats represented by immigration.
So, where do I begin?
When women exercise the right to vote, get an education, participate in working life and have political opinions of their own, the conclusion is apparently that they have been radicalised and that the West must confront feminisation….
Perhaps the most revealing thing is that the article actually says that women should shut up when it comes to questions of war, and claims that rational thinking disappeared when women became the majority in certain institutions.

I mean, of course we can discuss feminism, woke, differences between the sexes and whether men are overlooked in certain areas of society.
There are legitimate issues there. But to go from that to portraying women as a group as spoilt, irrational and responsible for the decline of the West is quite an impressive generalisation.
And the irony is almost perfect…..One complains that conservative men are demonised as a group and responds by demonising women as a group.
If Western civilisation really stands or falls on women having to have fewer opinions, vote differently and surrender more social power to men, then perhaps women are not the problem

This is just as much a divide even on the left. That’s why I believe in a mixture of Red and the Progress Party. If only they can agree that not everything should be state-run, not everything should be neoliberal… if the tax cut is done in such a way that it compensates for the payments. Red has fewer of the female activists. If some are activists before they are 18, most grow out of it. Some even move over to the conservative side. I like to call the leftward shift towards the right central extremism, as it becomes self-preserving. Excessive faith in systems, for the sake of the systems. It is a form of state collective narcissism, deep into institutions and municipalities.

If anyone is stupid enough to believe that there won’t be a call to prayer from this tower they haven’t experienced reality. When I served in the UN forces in Gaza we were once invited into a Mosque there. First we had to take off our shoes in a small entrance hall where we had to have someone guard the shoes so they wouldn’t be stolen. A little before 12.00 we had to leave the mosque because they were going to lie down on a prayer mat and turn towards Allah and pray. at 12.00 someone standing up in the tower began shouting out across the whole of Gaza City. Every day at 12.00 these calls to prayer take place. Hope Bodø’s mayor and residents manage to stop this madness that is in the process of destroying peaceful Norway.
