Southern Poverty Law Center was supposed to combat racism and discrimination, but was taken over by far-left woke activists who found so few right-wing extremists that they switched to financing the Nazis so that they would not become unemployed. After Charlottesville, it generated substantial revenue. The money poured in.
But now the Department of Justice has brought charges: SPLC financed the very groups it was intended to combat. It is as if a firefighter became an arsonist in order to demonstrate his own reason for existence.
It marks a kind of terminus for the Left, and one they do not wish to discuss. They deny that it is true.
A senior official at the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has been accused of helping to channel more than $1.2 million in donor funds to a confidential informant who had infiltrated a neo-Nazi organisation – a source who, according to prosecutors, was also the official’s secret lover.
The details were revealed in a superseding indictment filed on 2 June by the Department of Justice (DOJ) against SPLC, which has come under increasing scrutiny over allegations that the organisation funded individuals connected to extremist groups that it publicly denounced.
According to the document, the director of SPLC’s Intelligence Project had a secret romantic relationship with a paid field informant who infiltrated a neo-Nazi organisation known as the National Alliance on behalf of SPLC.
The lesson appears to be this: When the Left has achieved total dominance and lacks enemies, it turns to financing the enemy in order to legitimise its own existence.
Based on the information contained in the new indictment, the individual was identified only as “the person who would become director of SPLC’s Intelligence Project”. The employee is alleged to have carried out the financial transactions between 2015 and 2021.
According to congressional and SPLC records, the director at the time was Heidi L. Beirich, an extremism researcher who held the position from 2012 to 2019.
SPLC declined to comment on the matter to Fox News Digital.
The Left has dominance and ruthlessness in common with the sharia people: Anything that justifies and advances sharia is, by definition, lawful.
There is no law outside their domains.
That this bears a suspicious resemblance to fascism does not concern them.
But those around them should take note.
