The 18-year-old Ahmed from Syria did not like Document’s report on the case of Jan-Einar Borgerud. He has now begun threatening people for speaking with Document.
On Thursday Document reported the story of Jan-Einar Borgerud, who stands indicted for having used violence against Ahmed (18), when an immigrant gang attacked his stepson and the latter’s friend. Borgerud maintains that he acted under the doctrine of necessity (nødrett). The police prosecutor disagrees and maintains that the violence went too far.
During the incident the police stood nearby but did not intervene. You can read the entire story about Borgerud here:
The case provoked strong reactions. But not only from those who might have something to say about the content of the case. Also from those involved.
On Thursday evening Ahmed contacted Document via Document’s Instagram account.
There he asked Document whether it was possible to remove the case, because he found it uncomfortable that it had gone viral.
The messages are reproduced verbatim.
– I do not want the case to go viral, and since it is a trauma for me not something I am proud of, he wrote.
He adds:
– What I did in the past was stupid and that I was young and made stupid choices but now I have grown up I both go to school and work and have distanced myself from the criminal environment, he writes in a message.
However, even though Ahmed insists that he has moved away from his criminal past, Document receives tips to examine his profile more closely.
There a “story” appears which has recently been posted. In it there is a clear message to anyone who might have been subjected to something from him.
In the story Ahmed writes:
“So I have never taken social media so seriously at all, but now I am posting a serious post for once. And it is to those whore-brats who sit there inventing things that never happened, or sit there changing stories. Believe me, I will find you one by one like little rats. Ahmed never holds back when it comes to such matters. Ahmed out”

Thursday evening, after Document published the case, Ahmed (18) posted this on Instagram. Photo: Screenshot
Document asks him about this story on Instagram and writes the following message:
Journalist: – If you have changed, why are you posting this on your story? We would like to include what you say in the case. What do you actually believe happened, if you think something is incorrect?
Ahmed: – If you want we can take a phone call tomorrow and then I can explain it.
Journalist: – Gladly.
Ahmed: – Great, then we will do that.
The following day Document makes contact again in order to arrange the telephone call.
Then there is no reply.
Document follows up again on Monday, and there is no longer any reply from Ahmed.
Part of the gang that attacked Runar Magnussen
According to witness descriptions, police documents and other source material, Document can confirm that Ahmed (18) has been part of an immigrant gang consisting also of another individual, Amed Salman Mohammed Ameen (18), who assaulted Runar Magnussen in the middle of Vikersund town centre.
The other participants in this immigrant gang are the same individuals who are present at Kjennerudvannet, where the attack on Borgerud’s stepson and his friend takes place at the end of May 2024.
The attack on Runar Magnussen just outside a grocery shop, in the middle of the town centre, occurred in August 2024.
The now 19-year-old Ameen maintained that Magnussen behaved in a racist manner and that he “snapped”. Magnussen strongly rejected this.
Ahmed (18) now resides in an institution, and in court he states that he wishes to become a pilot.

This video was filmed by Ahmed (18), who repeatedly strikes a Norwegian boy in the face while threatening him. He laughs at him and writes on the video: “Never play with someone who is bigger then u ;)” Photo: Private
Document has seen several videos in which Ahmed has used violence against other persons. Including videos in which he himself films and humiliates the victims. According to himself he has struggled to sleep and has been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as a result of being struck with an iron bar by Borgerud.
One of the videos shows Ahmed filming himself while striking a Norwegian boy in the face several times. It is clear that Ahmed is enjoying himself in the process. He shared the video on social media.
In another video he slaps another boy and tells him to say “Sorry, boss” to Ahmed. “Otherwise, I will rape you,” he says in the video. This leads to the boy saying “Sorry, boss”.
