Student protests have broken out in twenty cities across Iran. At the same time, negotiations with the United States have stalled, and many believe they were never genuine. The Revolutionary Guard will never give in. They can only be removed by force.

It is only a few days since the regime reopened the internet following a blackout that had lasted several months. It is now easier to get footage of the protests out of the country. The students are dangerous to the regime.
On the American side, many have long argued that the Iranians are not negotiating in good faith. The whole thing is a performance.
Representative Pat Fallon (R–Texas) stated during an appearance on “Fox News Live” on Saturday that he believes a decision by President Donald Trump to launch strikes against Iran is “inevitable”.
Fallon, who serves on both the House Armed Services Committee and the House Intelligence Committee, agreed with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, who accused Iran of using Lebanon as a bargaining chip in negotiations with the United States.
“IRGC is not rational, the President of Lebanon is absolutely right, and this is really just another unreasonable obstacle being placed in the path of negotiations.”
Lebanon and Israel agreed to a US-mediated ceasefire on Thursday after Iranian authorities claimed they would not continue peace talks with the United States as long as Israeli forces were conducting operations in Lebanon.
The Iranian-backed terrorist group Hezbollah, which is the target of Israel’s operations in Lebanon, refused to accept the ceasefire.
Fallon also agreed with former CENTCOM deputy commander, retired Vice Admiral Robert Harward, saying that Iran has never negotiated in good faith.
“Unfortunately, this has to end, either the easy way or the hard way, and I think it’s going to be hard,” Fallon said.
When asked whether Trump should abandon negotiations altogether and launch strikes against Iran, Fallon replied: “I think it’s inevitable that that is what is going to happen, because you are not really negotiating with people who are pragmatic.”
Fallon went on to say that he believes the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) currently holds power and argued that the group is too radical to negotiate with.
“They are the most militant fanatics, and they are not going to give up the enriched uranium, and they are not going to open the Strait of Hormuz, so the use of force is unfortunately the only option I believe the President has left,” Fallon said.
