One of Abdul el-Sayed’s closest associates, Jordan Domingue, has published a series of tweets exposing the Democratic candidate as a fraud. He did not complete his medical degree; he does not have ten years’ experience in the healthcare sector. Nothing he says is true. Family links to the Muslim Brotherhood are now also coming to light.
He is also operating under false pretences when it comes to security and foreign policy.
I protected Abdul for two years; I worked as his personal assistant and head of security during his election campaigns. I resigned from two jobs early to work abroad, moved to Michigan twice and took pay cuts averaging 50,000k.
I drove his beloved wife to the hospital for check-ups when she was pregnant. His youngest daughter called me Mr Jorjan. I painted an original piece of art for him as a birthday present.
I was delighted to be able to do and experience all of this. During the gubernatorial campaign, he never mentioned foreign policy. During the Senate election campaign, his foreign policy was driven by a desire to exact what seemed like misplaced revenge.
When I finally realised that he didn’t really care about civilians or peace, everything I had previously ignored or excused made it clear to me who he was, and that I was on the wrong side.
This is utterly devastating for el-Sayed’s candidacy.
Since Dominique stepped down, he has been leading ‘Dems for Mike’, Democrats for Mike Rogers, el-Sayed’s opponent. In the most Democrat-friendly strongholds in Michigan, ‘Dems for Mike’ signs are popping up.

The latest allegations to emerge are that he and his family have links to the Muslim Brotherhood. In an interview with Kirsten Welker, he denies this. But tweets from his sister suggest otherwise. She is still a revolutionary and dreams of a revolution in America. This is the side of the Democratic Party that is causing many Democrats to turn away.
According to his own sister, Abdul El-Sayed’s family has “long been” part of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Abdul needs to be honest with Michiganders about his and his family’s ties to terrorism. https://t.co/0OhSBTpPg8

Jordan Dominigue says he has been ambivalent about these allegations, but he now realises they have substance.
I’ve been a bit paralysed since this story came out. To me, it was always just smoke. Now, however, I think I’ve seen enough to be able to say that there’s fire. The worst thing is that, to be honest, I’m not happy. Since 2018, I’ve been defending this very claim.
Yes, I thought he was anti-Semitic based on his comments. I learnt that he largely sided with the left when it came to Islamist organisations that make up the resistance movement. I thought this was merely misdirected revenge against the US for the Global War on Terror (GWOT) and against Israel for the war in Gaza.
I was concerned that the Muslim Brotherhood might be more deeply involved, but I didn’t want to believe it. Partly because it is extremely difficult to grasp just how dangerous this could become if he is elected. It is particularly worrying to know that, despite his lack of experience in foreign policy, he REALLY wants a seat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
El-Sayed seems to have a tendency to lie even when he doesn’t need to. He boasts of ten years’ public service, whilst in reality it is only three. The truth will come out sooner or later.
On the campaign trail, he likes to say that he has ‘10 years’ experience in public service’.I knew it was a lie whilst I was working for him, but I was also surprised that he would say it. Not because it was a lie, but because having 10 years’ work experience in public service at the age of 41 was embarrassing for me.Using this as a means of legitimising himself to the US Senate, as someone who hadn’t had a proper job until he was 31, was completely out of line. I started mowing lawns every day after school and during the long summer days when I was around 8 years old.
The story of El-Sayed is also the story of how ‘woke’ Democrats are losing the working class. It’s a lesson some in the Norwegian press would do well to learn. They still believe that the working class votes Democrat.
It can’t have been easy for El-Sayed to lose the former Marine. Domingue seems to have his finger on the pulse of voters in Michigan, and unlike the Democratic leaders in Michigan, he is not so blinded by hatred towards those who disagree with him that he is unable to make an honest assessment of his political opponents.
El-Sayed’s former senior adviser explains how ‘woke’ Democrats no longer understand working-class men and women, and why they are now voting for the Republicans.
A point that far too many Democrats fail to grasp, as they cling to ‘affordability’ and completely misunderstand the culture wars. People who work to earn a living. People whose work takes its toll on their bodies. People who have dirt – or sometimes blood – under their fingernails after a 12-hour working day.
These people do not trust the Democratic Party. They know that petrol prices will remain high under the Democratic Party, due to climate measures rather than war. They know that their financial situation will not improve. They are Republican voters and will remain Republican voters, because at least they know things won’t get weird again.
El-Sayed is obsessed with appearing masculine, but he’s playing a part. In reality, he’s better at playing the victim. He’s an example of the politicians the Democrats are promoting who are a synthetic product. They are ‘manufactured’, they are artificial and crumble under pressure. They are only propped up by a press that lies for them.
