Just before the first anniversary of Charlie Kirk’s murder, Hasan Piker joins in a song about how “we are all Charlie Kirk” that is intended as pure mockery. Piker is seen as the partner of Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, and reports like this could hurt him in Michigan. In California, it is a different story.
The far-left streamer [Hasan Piker](https://www.foxnews.com/category/person/hasan-piker) was seen and heard singing the meme song “We Are Charlie Kirk” during a stop on his “Fear& LIVE” tour over the weekend, triggering strong reactions online.
Leading a cheering crowd, [Piker sang](https://x.com/Awk20000/status/2091121121672466842): “We are Charlie Kirk, we carry the flame. We’ll fight for the Gospel, we’ll honor his name”, while his co-hosts could be seen laughing on stage. At one point, Piker appeared to say that this was one of the most surreal moments of his life.
The song, which is believed to have been generated by artificial intelligence, was [released on 18 September 2025](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUHpUXlsvbI), shortly after Kirk was murdered in Utah. It is in the style of a Christian power ballad, with lyrics such as: “He spoke the truth when the price was high / He lived for Jesus, unafraid to die.”
Everyone knows that Piker and his followers mean the opposite. This is mockery. Turning Point USA spokesman Andrew Kolvet:
“Hasan Piker is engaging in pure, unadulterated evil,” Turning Point spokesman Andrew Kolvet wrote on X. “Whoever mocks the poor reproaches his Maker; he who is glad at calamity will not go unpunished. Proverbs 17:5.”
“He is simply a despicable human being. Piker was supposed to debate Charlie Kirk a few days after he was murdered. Piker actually talked about how deeply the shooting had shaken him. Now he is making fun of the whole thing to entertain his loser fans,” wrote Chuck Ross, an investigative journalist at the Washington Free Beacon.
To mock someone who was killed for standing up for freedom of speech is to sink to a low level. Especially since Kirk turned up and debated his fiercest opponents. Yet he was killed.
If one points this out to the left, they respond with Kirk’s views. They genuinely believe that he was to blame for his own death.
