Norway’s historic World Cup run ended Saturday after Jude Bellingham scored twice to give England a 2–1 extra-time victory in the quarterfinals in Miami.
Andreas Schjelderup gave Norway the lead in the 36th minute when his attempted delivery drifted beyond goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and into the far corner.
England responded before halftime. Bellingham drove through the Norwegian defense and placed a low finish beyond Ørjan Nyland to make it 1–1.

The decisive moment came three minutes into extra time. Nyland spilled Morgan Rogers’ long-range effort, allowing Bellingham to score from the rebound.
Norway pushed for an equalizer, but England held on. Erling Haaland, who scored seven goals during the tournament, was substituted after struggling with fatigue and a leg injury.
The defeat ended Norway’s deepest World Cup campaign after Ståle Solbakken’s side had eliminated Brazil in the previous round.
