The United States has killed the leader of the notorious Tren de Aragua cartel, Niño Guerrero, and it happened inside Venezuela in cooperation with the authorities. The authorities have thus changed sides. Trump announced the operation at the opening of the FIFA World Cup. Millions watched the strike that removed Guerrero from the face of the earth. He has been sent to the depths of hell, Trump wrote.
This carries great symbolic significance. The first time Americans became acquainted with the cartel was when its members took over an apartment block in Colorado. They strutted around with automatic weapons, completely unperturbed. This told Americans something about the kind of people the Biden regime had allowed into the country. Criminals could come to take over America under a president who was himself corrupt.

Trump wrote on Truth Social:
By my order, United States Southern Command carried out a swift and lethal military strike that resulted in the execution of Niño Guerrero, the notorious leader of Tren De Aragua, one of the most bloodthirsty terrorist organisations on earth.
Before I took office as President, Joe Biden opened our southern border to millions of illegal criminals and allowed this foreign army to rape, maim and murder American citizens with complete impunity.
During the campaign, I promised to expel these monsters from our country and bring justice to the families of those they slaughtered, including precious 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray, 22-year-old Laken Reilly, and countless other beautiful souls.
With this action, the United States military has delivered vengeance for them, their families and their loved ones. Early in my administration, I fulfilled my promise to designate Tren de Aragua as a Foreign Terrorist Organization, deport thousands of evil criminals, and wage war against the cartels, which have long waged war against our citizens while weak leaders left America helpless and defenceless.
This action was closely coordinated with our friends in Venezuela, with whom we are working very well. As a result, Tren de Aragua terrorists no longer have any safe haven in Venezuela or anywhere else, and under my leadership we will find these vicious murderers and drug lords anytime, anywhere, and send them to the depths of hell, where they belong.
GOD BLESS AMERICA! President DONALD J. TRUMP
The cartel leaders have long been shrouded in mystique, nourished by films such as Scarface. But in Trump they have met their match, says General Kellogg.
This is also why the ayatollahs are coming to heel and entering into an agreement.
The execution of Guerrero sends a message to all criminal mafiosi that there is a new sheriff in town.
Even NTB provides a relatively sober account.
Trump commands respect.
The US military has carried out a strike in Venezuela against the leader of the Tren de Aragua gang and killed him, according to US President Donald Trump.
The strike took place in close cooperation with “our friends in Venezuela”, Trump writes in a post on the social media platform Truth Social.
The President describes the strike as swift and lethal and writes that Niño Guerrero, the notorious leader of Tren de Aragua, was killed in the attack.
The authorities in Venezuela confirm the joint operation and also confirm that Guerrero has been killed.
Trump describes Tren de Aragua as “one of the most bloodthirsty terrorist organisations on the planet” and links the group to the policies of his predecessor Joe Biden.
“Biden opened our southern border to millions of illegal criminals and allowed this foreign army to rape, maim and kill American citizens with complete impunity,” Trump writes.
– Send them to the depths of hell
He continues the post by referring to how he has “expelled these monsters from our country” and that he had promised justice for the victims’ families.
“With this action, the US military has delivered retribution for them, their families and their loved ones,” Trump writes.
Earlier this year he placed Tren de Aragua on the US terrorist list, along with gangs and cartels from several Latin American countries.
“This action was coordinated in close cooperation with our friends in Venezuela, and as a result Tren de Aragua terrorists no longer have any safe haven in Venezuela or anywhere else, and under my leadership we will find these evil murderers and drug barons anytime, anywhere, and send them to the depths of hell, where they belong,” Trump concludes.
Following Trump’s announcement, Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth and Southern Command (Southcom) also commented on the operation.
Hegseth says the operation took place earlier this week.
“Earlier this week, the Department of War, in full cooperation with Venezuelan security forces, carried out a kinetic strike against a Tren de Aragua camp in Venezuela,” Hegseth wrote on X.
Was wanted
“Tren de Aragua founder and leader Hector Rusthenford Guerrero Flores, known as Niño Guerrero, has been confirmed killed in the strike,” Hegseth further wrote.
Southcom, which is responsible for US military activities in Latin America and the Caribbean, an area encompassing 31 countries, notes that Guerrero was wanted by US authorities.
“We thank the Venezuelan security forces for their support in this successful joint operation against a Tren de Aragua camp, which resulted in the death of narcoterrorist and organisation leader Hector Rusthenford Guerrero Flores. Guerrero was wanted and charged by the US Department of Justice with ordering, directing and facilitating acts of terrorism and violence in the United States,” Southcom wrote in a post on X.
Hegseth added in his post that the operation underscores the shared commitment of the United States and Venezuela “to combat narcoterrorists”. He signalled continued cooperation with both Venezuela and other countries in Latin America on such matters. (NTB)
American special forces have also eliminated more than 1,000 jihadists in Nigeria. The era in which the United States retreated is over.
