With millions of followers and several international bestsellers behind him, Gad Saad is one of the most influential critics of developments in the modern Western world. In a viral post on X, he has now issued what may be his darkest prediction yet.
Professor, author, and public commentator Gad Saad recently published a post on X that quickly went viral. In the post, Saad, who has long addressed issues related to postmodern woke culture, mass migration, and the West’s encounter with Islam, argues that there is no longer any peaceful path to coexistence. His warnings have gone unheeded and now, according to Saad, only open conflict remains.
“I hate to say this but please hear me out. For decades, I have made a daily Herculean effort to warn people of the dangers facing the West. My goal was to ensure that any auto-corrective process meant to address the problems would be a peaceful one. I fear that this window has closed. Prepare for astounding violence. It may not come tomorrow, next week, next month, or next year. But it is coming. Save this post.”

Gad Saad was born in 1964 in Beirut, Lebanon, to Jewish parents. His family fled to Quebec, Canada, in 1975 to escape the Lebanese Civil War and antisemitic forces.
Saad earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science, an MBA in marketing from McGill University, a master’s degree in management, and a PhD in marketing from Cornell University. He is currently a professor of marketing at Concordia University and has also held professorships at top universities such as Cornell, Dartmouth, and UCLA.
Gad Saad has his own YouTube channel, The Saad Truth, which at the time of writing has received more than 40 million views.
Saad has become known as a strong opponent of postmodernism and woke culture, and in 2020 his book The Parasitic Mind: How Infectious Ideas Are Killing Common Sense was published. It became a bestseller in many countries.
He has also been critical of large-scale immigration from Muslim countries, arguing that Islam and Western democracy cannot coexist.
– When you place Islam in Western conditions, they cannot coexist peacefully over time. Certainly, you can find periods in history when Muslims and non-Muslims lived together, but it was never stable over the long term, Gad Saad said in an interview with Israel Hayom.
– If the trends in immigration and Islamic influence continue, Europe will descend into massive violence. And not only Europe, but every place where these processes are taking place.
His latest book, Suicidal Empathy, was recently published. In it, he addresses what he sees as the West’s current self-destructive behavior.
Saad describes himself as an atheist and as culturally Jewish.
