Danish children have so far received several million Danish kroner in compensation for injuries caused by the COVID vaccine. This is reported by Ekstra Bladet.
In total, nine children in Denmark have received just over three million Danish kroner in compensation after a COVID vaccine caused them chronic urticaria, inflammation of the central nervous system, or pericarditis.
These are only some of the consequences that the coronavirus vaccines have had for 78 children aged 5–17 who have applied for compensation for their injuries.
This appears from an overview prepared by Patienterstatningen (the Danish Patient Compensation Association) for Berlingske.
“Our task is to try to draw a line under the patients’ course of treatment. But we also know full well that compensation unfortunately does not remove the injury one has to live with,” Karen-Inger Bast, Director of Patienterstatningen, tells Berlingske.
Thousands of children as young as five were encouraged to be vaccinated against COVID-19, primarily in order to protect their grandparents.
And for this, a number of children have now paid a high price.
Here, nine children have together received compensation amounting to DKK 3,184,801.
The cases concern two children under the age of 12 and seven children aged 12–17.
The conditions include chronic urticaria, pericarditis and myocarditis, inflammatory disease of the central nervous system, and MOG disease (encephalitis).
It was the assessment of Sundhedsstyrelsen (the Danish Health Authority) that vaccinating children against COVID-19 was “safe and effective”. Nor was this the Authority’s primary objective, as it stated at the time that the vaccine was intended to protect particularly vulnerable people and stop the spread of the coronavirus.
Up to 80 per cent of Danish children aged 12–15 received a COVID vaccine, while the figure for children aged 5–11 was 46 per cent.
A total of 3,333 Danes have applied for compensation, of whom 372 have had their claims upheld. Forty-one are still awaiting a decision.
Dr Vibeke Manniche has for many years been a critic of the COVID vaccines. She comments on X:
“It has just emerged that at least nine children have been awarded compensation by Patienterstatningen for injuries following a COVID-19 vaccine. The cases reportedly concern seven children between the ages of 12 and 17 and two children under the age of 12. The adverse effects suffered by the children are chronic urticaria, pericarditis and myocarditis, inflammatory disease of the central nervous system, and encephalitis. All of these serious adverse effects – which for some have cost and will cost them their lives – could have been entirely avoided if there had been a full understanding of the science and the facts. It was, in fact, an outright lie that the vaccines protected against infection – which was the sole reason why children were vaccinated against coronavirus. When the EMA (European Medicines Agency) granted the coronavirus vaccines emergency authorisation, it simultaneously stated that there was NO scientific documentation showing that the vaccines protected against infection. This did not prevent the Danish authorities and politicians (such as Magnus Heunicke and Mette Frederiksen) from lying to the public time and again and, despite knowing better, emphasising how important it was for children and young people to be vaccinated in order to protect ‘grandma’ from infection. It is so tragic how many children and young people have suffered permanent injuries (or have died) following the coronavirus vaccines. It is a tragedy without precedent.”
During a press conference on 9 November 2021, Denmark’s Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen launched very harsh public attacks on those of her fellow citizens who had not yet received a coronavirus vaccine. “We are seeing that the small group of people who do not want to be vaccinated are unfortunately infecting those who have been vaccinated,” she said. Frederiksen claimed that “It is not fair that our elderly and vulnerable fellow citizens and others who have done everything society has asked them to do should be exposed to increased risk because of the few who do not want to be vaccinated.”
It will become more difficult to remain unvaccinated in Denmark, the Prime Minister said, adding: “I must be honest and say that I myself am thinking about how we can place further pressure on those who are not vaccinated, without subjecting the vaccinated part of the population to stricter restrictions than necessary.” If Denmark is to remain an open society, everyone must be vaccinated, Frederiksen maintained. “And that should happen immediately,” she stated.
