Jeffrey Epstein and Børge Brende were in close contact, according to new emails. They both agreed that Davos could replace the UN as a governing arena.
New documents from the US Epstein investigation, released recently, reveal close and ongoing contact between World Economic Forum CEO Børge Brende and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Among other things, they explicitly discussed replacing the UN with WEF/Davos as a global governance arena.
The emails and messages show specific appointments for dinners at Epstein’s luxury apartment at 9 East 71st Street in New York.

A chain of emails from September 2018 starts with Epstein writing about cyber, crypto, genetics, international coordination, his experience at the Trilateral Commission, “distributed trust” and “internet fallout”. He concludes: “davos can really replace the UN.”</p
Brende responds enthusiastically:
“Exactly – we need a new global architecture. The World Economic Forum (Davos) is uniquely positioned – public private. Best, Borge.”
This took place around UN Week in New York, and the dinner included Terje Rød-Larsen and Michael Wolff, among others.
More dinners confirmed:
September 2018: Dinner at Epstein’s (invited by Rød-Larsen, presented as “American investor”). Brende thanks him afterwards: “Thank you my friend. I really appreciated the dinner.”</p
Epstein responds with birthday congratulations and an invitation to a Woody Allen dinner.
June 2019: Sushi dinner at Epstein’s – just weeks before Epstein’s arrest on 6 July 2019. Brende confirms via assistant and looks forward to it. He had just met Trump at the White House and texts Epstein: “Just met your friend POTUS.”</p
Epstein responds with reference to Steve Bannon.

Brende and Epstein exchanged messages on at least 27 different dates until the end of June 2019. Epstein also sent a link to a New York Times article about his assault case; Brende responded with a thumbs up emoji but claims he never opened it. They also discussed the role of the WEF, AI, music, sleep and infrastructure.
Børge Brende, former Minister of Foreign Affairs (Conservative Party), Minister of the Environment and Minister of Trade and Industry, has been President and CEO of the World Economic Forum since 2017.

In June 2019, he signed a strategic partnership agreement (MOU) between the WEF and the UN in New York, the same period as the sushi dinner with Epstein.
Brende has apologised profusely to Norwegian media: He claims he was “completely unaware” of Epstein’s criminal past and actions, that he was introduced by Rød-Larsen, and that contact was limited to the dinners plus some emails/SMSs related to them.
“Had I known, I would of course never have met him. I obviously should have investigated Epstein’s past more closely, and I regret that I didn’t.”
He calls Epstein a “monster” and expresses support for the victims. He doesn’t recall all the messages and claims no contact about Davos specifically in any interviews, despite the documents showing discussions about the forum’s global role.
