The term ‘migration jihad’ (‘demographic jihad’ or ‘population jihad’ in English) has attracted renewed attention following a video interview with an apostate Muslim who goes by the name ‘AJ’. He claims that at school in an Arabic-speaking country with a Muslim majority, he was taught that migration is a form of jihad – a strategy for taking over civilisations modelled on the Prophet Muhammad’s hijra – his migration from Mecca to Medina.
According to AJ, the early Muslims presented themselves as ‘harmless refugees’, formed alliances and then took control. He believes this is a doctrine that is still being taught and that it explains much of the Muslim immigration to the West.
Muslims are warned against allowing themselves to be assimilated
Hijra is an Arabic term meaning emigration, migration or leaving a place, depending on the context. Historically, it refers to one of the most pivotal events in Islamic history, namely the Prophet Muhammad’s emigration from Mecca to Medina (then known as Yathrib) in the year 622 AD.
After encountering opposition in Mecca, Muhammad and his followers moved to Medina, where they built up political and military power, formed alliances and waged war. This marks the beginning of the Islamic calendar, in which 622 is counted as Year 1. In several places, the Qur’an links faith, migration and jihad to the cause of Allah (including 2:218 and 8:72).
Islamic groups actively use the term ‘hijra’. ISIS has called for hijra to areas where it is waging war. The organisation Al-Muhajiroun (‘the emigrants’) in the UK chose its name deliberately. In Islamic theology, reference is also made to the transition from the ‘house of war’ (dar al-harb) to the ‘house of Islam’ (dar al-Islam).

Critics of mass immigration – be they academics, apostate Muslims or conservative Westerners – use the terms ‘migration jihad’ or ‘demographic jihad’ to describe a long-term strategy: By combining higher birth rates with immigration, the demographics – and thus the political and cultural power – in European countries are altered. Several imams speak openly of ‘conquest through the womb’ and warn Muslims against allowing themselves to be assimilated.

AJ claims that ‘migration jihad’ is the plan currently being implemented in the UK and throughout the West. Muslims are being sent into our countries to take over our societies – and we are allowing it:

Muhammad migrated from Mecca to Medina. They presented themselves as poor, harmless refugees and formed alliances with some tribes. After a short time, within the first five years, they took over, killed many of the tribes and deceived people on a civilisational level. This is what Islam was built upon, claims AJ.

At school, they were taught that this is the path to global domination. To demonise critics of the plans for global domination, they coined the term ‘Islamophobia’, a term that had never existed before.
AJ is an apostate Muslim. He uses the initials AJ in connection with, amongst other things, the Audax Field Notes project on YouTube and X.
He was born and raised in an Arabic-speaking country with a Muslim majority. Towards the end of his teenage years, he left Islam. Following his apostasy, he became the victim of severe persecution: militia raids on his flat, kidnapping, imprisonment, torture and accusations of working for foreign intelligence services. According to him, he was treated as a ‘Christian slave’ and later converted to Christianity. He now lives in the USA.
