On 8 August 2026, Jeffrey Tucker of the Brownstone Institute had an illuminating conversation with the accomplished microbiologist Dr Jessica Rose. They discussed Anthony Fauci’s diaries, which were recently made public, and the extent to which the public has been lied to and misled throughout the Covid period. Rose is almost entirely certain that the Wuhan coronavirus was genetically manipulated by humans.
Jessica Rose also believes that almost every aspect of the mRNA injections, including the delivery mechanisms – the lipid nanoparticles – may be harmful to humans. The entire platform is fundamentally flawed.
Joachim Gerlach of Germany is a highly thorough researcher who, together with many collaborators, has been researching everything relating to the coronavirus and the spike protein since early 2020. On 22 August 2026, he had an in-depth discussion with Dr Shankara Chetty in South Africa and Dr Philip McMillan in the United Kingdom.
All three simply took it for granted that the spike protein in the coronavirus had been genetically manipulated. It simply has too many unusual properties at the same time to be of natural origin. All three also took it for granted that many people are still suffering from long Covid.
After listening to many doctors whose opinions I respect, I am completely convinced that long Covid is a real phenomenon. There are too many unvaccinated people with long-term health problems following Covid infection for this to be ignored. They have been affected by a harmful substance, the spike protein. Health problems resulting from this are entirely realistic.
Joachim Gerlach believes that the coronavirus remains more dangerous than most people are willing to admit. People look only at the short-term mortality from Covid-19 and conclude that it is ‘just the flu’. Although influenza is troublesome, it is natural.
Covid is not natural. It was almost certainly made in a laboratory and specifically manipulated to have properties that are harmful to humans. Some of them are dangerous.
If you become infected with the coronavirus through natural transmission, especially if this happens repeatedly, you may develop long-term health problems as a result. Some of them may be serious.
The most obvious property of the Wuhan coronavirus, which was introduced into it through gain-of-function research, is that it is highly transmissible among humans. It was developed to attach itself to human cells, almost as a refrigerator magnet attaches itself to a refrigerator. This is also why it spread throughout the world.
Joachim Gerlach also points out, in terms that are highly technical for ordinary people, that the spike protein contains a number of inserted gene sequences, at least half a dozen or more, all of which appear capable of causing harm to humans in various ways. Some of them are quite dangerous, such as the ability to cause the misfolding of other proteins in the human body.
This ability appears to have caused many micro- and macro-blood clots of abnormal fibrin in the blood of many people, harming or even killing them. The fact that a few people appear deliberately to have introduced this ability into the virus is deeply disturbing to contemplate.
It should be noted that these harmful elements that were deliberately inserted into the spike protein are still there if you were to contract Covid tomorrow through natural transmission.
It may possibly have the ability to cause cancer. It may damage the heart and brain. It may perhaps damage the immune system. And it may cause dangerous blood clots that can lead to serious injury or even death. All in all, this sounds like a biological weapon. The spike protein has been described as the most toxic protein many doctors and biologists have ever seen.
The principal suspect in the creation of Covid is Ralph S. Baric. For several decades, he has conducted dangerous research into the genetic manipulation of viruses, including coronaviruses. Some of this research was designed with possible use as biological weapons in mind, as Dr David Martin has repeatedly pointed out. Some of his activities relating to ‘gain-of-function’ research were funded by Anthony Fauci using US public funds. Ralph Baric should be compelled to testify about this before the US Senate.
After 2014, this dangerous research was continued in Wuhan, China, still funded by Fauci, and still with Western researchers such as Ralph S. Baric as collaborators. Is this what created Covid-19? It seems overwhelmingly likely.
The coronavirus behind Covid-19 was almost certainly created in a laboratory by people who deliberately added several different modifications that made it more dangerous and more harmful to humans.
Perhaps the outbreak from the Wuhan laboratory in 2019 was an accident. Perhaps. But the creation of the virus was very much deliberate. And this virus spread across the entire globe and has infected almost every human being on Earth.
This illustrates why so-called ‘gain-of-function’ research must be banned globally. It is insanely dangerous, and wholly unjustified, actively to attempt to make viruses or other pathogens more harmful to humans.
There have been laboratory leaks before, and they will happen again. Humans make mistakes. The Wuhan laboratory leak was simply the worst in history so far.
What if the next manipulated viruses to be released, accidentally or deliberately, kill a far greater number of people than Covid-19 did? No one has the right to make such decisions on behalf of all humanity. These experiments must cease.
