It was inevitable: the Viking image and the collective rowing would be picked up by people who are concerned with saving the West. Brigitte Gabriel is one of them. She compares the rowing in Times Square with the occasion when Muslims held a prayer gathering there.

She is not the only one with such thoughts.

People abroad are pricking up their ears; they understand that something is about to happen.

NRK is unable to see it. They brought in Innovation Norway, which believed this would appeal to investors and tourists.

Norwegians have a madness within them, but it takes a great deal before it reveals itself collectively. It appears, however, that the FIFA World Cup has brought it out.
