An AI-generated video produced in Iran threatens President Donald Trump’s wife, Melania Trump, and their 20-year-old son, Barron.
The video, which was created using artificial intelligence, urges supporters of the Islamic regime to target the mother and son, according to the New York Post.
The video showed images of a motorcade and the First Lady outside designer boutiques. The English-language Indian channel WION covered the video under the headline: “Where Should We Kill Melania?!”
“Shopping trips could be ‘suitable for operations carried out by global freedom fighters’, the video stated. It also suggested using a nerve agent to poison clothes that the First Lady was expected to purchase,” the Post article said.
The clip also threatened Barron with the words: “This is only the beginning. Barron Trump, wait for us!”
The news came only a few days after President Trump stated that he was close to deciding whether to order a “massive” attack on Iran by expanding the United States’ military campaign against the Islamic Republic.
The Secret Service has launched an investigation into the matter.

The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has maintained sustained pressure on Iran’s military infrastructure, while the Pentagon has strengthened the United States’ capabilities in the region. However, there are also reports of problems with the delivery of a sufficient quantity of weapons.
At the same time, negotiations between the United States and Iran are continuing, although they offer little hope of a diplomatic solution. Trump said on Monday that although substantive talks with Iran are under way, he warned that the United States is prepared to resume “very powerful military measures” should diplomacy fail.
President Trump himself has survived three assassination attempts on American soil, and the regime in Tehran is suspected of being behind at least one of them.
