Censorship makes verification difficult, but we do know something. Two deadly explosions have been confirmed in southern Iran and there are rumours of up to 14 nationwide. Authorities attribute the explosions to gas leaks. In Bandar Abbas, a four-year-old girl died and 14 were injured in an eight-storey apartment block. In Ahvaz, a family of four died and two were injured in an apartment block. The US and Israel deny involvement and no military attacks have been confirmed.
The USS Abraham Lincoln and destroyers are ready for attack on Trump’s orders. Trump warns of a “far worse” attack than in June 2025 – but no action has been taken. Iran is preparing to retaliate against US bases.
Regime admits executing protesters
As part of sanctions against the regime, the US has deported three former IRGC members suspected of terrorism.
Opposition groups continue to name IRGC and Basij members involved in killings. Among the names emerging are Pouya Maleki (Haji Pouya), IRGC commanders such as Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf (Speaker of Parliament) and Ali Larijani (Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, SNSC). They are required to be investigated for “crimes against humanity” – but when the regime falls, the Iranian people may not have the patience to wait for an elaborate judicial process, the taps are there.
– Iranians continue to identify the mass murderers behind the killing of protesters. One of them is Pouya Maleki, known as Haji Pouya, a commander with ties to the Imam Ali Battalion in Kermanshah. His home address has been shared and documented.

The Rumour Mill
Saudi Arabia is rumoured to have reversed course and, as of 31 January, will support an attack on Iran.
There are also rumours of GPS interference in Iran. They may be linked to electronic warfare from the US/Israel – but this has not been confirmed.
According to the opposition account @npovmedia, the regime is manipulating social media algorithms to censor protests and spread propaganda. This is a known tactic, but also not confirmed.
Other hot rumours include regime exodus; that senior officers are making their way to Russia on VIP planes, Baloch and Kurdish militias are attacking IRGC bases in border areas and from the regime that “foreign terrorist cells” from Israel and the US are infiltrating the protests.
The overall picture shows a regime in panic mode, increasing desertion in the IRGC and international isolation.

Explosions all over Iran
According to Tousi TV, at least eight deadly coordinated explosions were reported in cities across Iran within just 90 minutes. It’s unclear whether they are drones or planted bombs. They are not missiles. It has led to speculation about attacks and whether Mossad is cleaning up before attacking. Iran blames gas leaks. Old gas pipes pose a serious health hazard, if true. Israel denies being involved.
In addition to the below, an explosion was also reported in Parand city.
– Qom has also been hit. So far, explosions have been reported in Tehran, Karaj, Qom, Bandar Abbas, Ahvaz and Tabriz.

The explosion in Bandar Abbas is reported to have hit one of Iran’s most important and secretive surveillance centres – known as the “Sea Eye” or “Vigilant Eye”, it monitored maritime traffic and sensitive islands. Without the surveillance centre in Bandar Abbas, each island is left “absolutely defenceless against a coordinated invasion”.
Travelling to the 72 virgins island?
Alireza Tangsiri is said to be the man who was killed in Bandar Abbas. He was the commander of the Islamic Republic’s Sepah navy, but Iranian authorities deny that he is travelling to the 72 virgins island.
– The IRGC’s naval commander was killed in the explosion in the port city of Bandar Abbas today. Do you still think there is a gas leak?

– I don’t think Mossad was involved in the Bandar Abbas bombing.
Mossad is precise and targets individual apartments/rooms. This one is more chaotic and caused extensive damage.
I am convinced that it is a case of Iranian monarchist militia taking revenge for the massacres. They have gained access to explosives and more advanced weapons. Combine that with massive doxxing of basijis and IRGC terrorists and you’re facing a real insurgency movement. Javid Shah!

At least six countries have reportedly informed President Trump that they support a military strike on the terrorist regime in Iran. Among them is newcomer Saudi Arabia. Prince Khalid bin Salman has reportedly backed the overthrow of the regime and the return of the exiled Shah.
.
– Axios reports that Saudi Arabia has reversed its position on an attack on the Islamic regime. Defence Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman said on Friday in a private briefing in Washington that if President Trump does not follow through on his threats, the regime will strengthen.Shortly afterwards, it was announced that the US will sell Saudi Arabia Patriot missile defence systems worth $9 billion.
