A 16-year-old Syrian committed brutal and degrading “punishment rapes” against a 14-year-old Swedish girl, including inside a library toilet. The assaults were filmed, and in one rape incident he strangled the girl until she passed out – and spat on her. The Syrian is now sentenced to one year of youth supervision. “Get down on your knees and say that you are my whore”.
That is what the Syrian said when he raped the 14-year-old girl inside Gamlestadens library in Gothenburg.
The girl was forced to go down on all fours and explain that she was his dog or whore while the Syrian filmed.
This is only one of several cases of rape and assault to which she was subjected. A few days earlier, on 8 December last year, the girl was assaulted at a school in Gothenburg. The Syrian is said to have kicked, pushed and put a stranglehold on her so that she had difficulty breathing.
The crimes occurred after he had heard a rumour about the girl, with whom he had had a relationship, and decided to punish her.
A few days after the rape at the library came a new assault at a travel centre where he put a stranglehold on her until she lost consciousness.
The assaults were filmed with the girl’s mobile phone, and he sent the files to himself while threatening to spread them.
The District Court establishes that the total punitive value of the acts corresponds to imprisonment “a little over seven years” for an adult. Despite this, the 16-year-old Syrian is sentenced only to youth supervision for one year.
He shall also pay 520,000 Swedish kronor in compensation to the girl.
Fria Tider writes that the Syrian has Swedish citizenship since he was born in Sweden and therefore cannot be deported under current Swedish legislation.
