Anna Bråthen was attacked in the street after attending Norgesdemokratene’s Remig conference at Håndverkeren. As she came walking down Rosenkrantzgate, a man flew at her and began hitting her repeatedly. Inexplicably, the case was dropped by the police. The public prosecutor has now ordered a new investigation.

The name of the attacker is known and the incident is documented. The sequence of events leaves no doubt that this was an attack on an innocent person.

The decision to drop the case was incomprehensible. The public prosecutor indirectly agrees when overturning the decision:

The police are hereby requested to issue a new prosecutorial decision in the case, including consideration of other grounds for any new decision to drop the case. The person reported and the complainant are to be notified of the decision. A copy of this endorsement is to be sent to the person reported and the complainant upon notification.
