Graham Platner has long been embroiled in scandal due to a Nazi tattoo, sexting with young girls, and vicious attacks on military veterans and rape victims. Under normal circumstances, Platner would never have stood a chance, but he received support from figures such as Bernie Sanders, and during the night he won the primary election.

In November, the Democrats will field a candidate who bears the SS symbol on his chest—or did, as he has attempted to obscure it with a new tattoo.

Platner seeks to present himself as a defender of the common man, but he has wealthy parents who purchased both a house and an oyster farm for him. Even so, his finances are not going well.

Platner speaks frequently about the war against the oligarchs, much like other far-left Democrats.

The Democrats have undertaken no reckoning with their drift to the left. What began with the Squad in 2016 has now become mainstream.
