Article 1 of the Constitution states that Norway shall be a free, independent and sovereign state. Under Article 100 of the Constitution, everyone has the right to express their opinions, including opinions that Norway should not be a free, independent and sovereign state. Here, the Constitution is in conflict with itself, and this error must now be corrected. The Storting must therefore adopt an addition to Article 100 of the Constitution stating that no expressions in the public sphere may be contrary to Article 1 of the Constitution.
The Storting must also adopt an addition to Article 50 of the Constitution stipulating that no person who is a member of a political party, an organisation, or belongs to a religion that has an ideology or the intention of removing all or part of Article 1 of the Constitution shall have the right to vote in parliamentary elections in Norway.
Today, the socialist parties in the Storting and the Government have made themselves dependent on Muslim voters in order to secure a majority to govern Norway. This is a dangerous development because Islam is steering these political parties away from loyalty to Norway’s Constitution and towards loyalty to Islam and sharia legislation. We already see many examples of this development. The most visible example is the socialists’ love for the terrorist organisation Hamas and its supporters in Gaza, and other Muslims who engage in terrorism and who wish to destroy the State of Israel.
Only a few days ago, Støre received praise from the Iranian Consul in Norway for his loyalty to the extremely violent Shiite Muslim clerical regime in Iran. What is truly dangerous in this matter is that when Islam does not possess power, it appears to be a peaceful religion, but the moment Islam gains power, it is transformed into a political dictatorship.
What is even worse is that Iranian Shiite Islam is willing to annihilate its entire own population in order to retain its power. This is happening now in Iran, with Hamas in Gaza, with Hezbollah in Lebanon, with the Houthis in Yemen, and in every place where Shiite Islam feels threatened. If this does not set alarm bells ringing in Norway, then one cannot expect Norway to remain a politically free and independent state in the future.
The Labour Party (Ap) and the other socialist parties, together with NRK and TV 2, are now willing to sacrifice Norway’s freedom and independence on the altar of retaining governmental power in Norway. In addition, they are doing everything within their power to “keep a lid on it” in order to prevent this debate from being conducted in the public sphere.
If the Storting is unwilling to implement the necessary measures by amending the Constitution immediately, we may as well recognise sooner rather than later that the battle for a free and independent Norway in the future has already been lost. On Sunday, 17 May, we celebrated Norway’s Constitution. But when the sitting Government is unwilling to follow the Constitution, there is no longer any point in continuing to celebrate 17 May.
