On Saturday, we got a new twist on the Epstein scandal: It was a Russian honey trap. Putin is behind Epstein. It was repeated in the Sunday programme. This theory links Russia collusion to the biggest scandal shaking the Western elite. Hadia Tajik went one step further. She referred to the presentation of the annual security conference on Friday, which warned against anti-state actors.

Tajik said these actors exploit the scandals to cast doubt on the integrity of individuals and to attack democratic institutions.

Then she said:

“I want the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment to investigate the extent to which anti-state actors have exploited the Epstein scandal to foment distrust of politicians and institutions.

This was a completely new angle on the Epstein scandal.
