US police have raided the home of Ilhan Omar, a Democratic member of the House of Representatives. There has been a great deal of controversy surrounding Omar, including allegations that she married her brother to get him into the US, and claims that she has profited from the Biden administration’s profligate spending during the pandemic. At one point, she had a sum in the hundreds of millions in her account.
After a few days, it had been reduced to zero.
Fox News had exclusive access to the story.
The media outlet revealed exclusively that the raid is part of an ongoing criminal investigation into fraud relating to the immigration paperwork of the Somali-born congresswoman, which were allegedly completed by the far-left politician’s late father when she was a child.
“Today, Homeland Security Investigations in the Washington, D.C. area conducted a judicially authorised search pursuant to a search warrant issued by the Department of Justice,” a Department of Justice spokesperson confirmed to Fox News Digital.
“This enforcement action is part of an ongoing federal investigation,” the spokesperson added.
Border Patrol Agent Tom Homan stated last month that the Democratic politician was the subject of an ongoing ‘criminal’ investigation.
Trump is among those who have suggested that she should be deported. If such a process were to be initiated before the election, it would send a very strong signal.
