Trump used unusually harsh words to describe the Nobel Committee’s awarding of the Peace Prize to Navi Pillay. He took it as a slap in the face for the US and says that Norway has disgraced itself.
“This is an indelible stain on Norway and the people who made such a shameful and embarrassing decision,” said Trump.
“The Nobel Peace Prize has been forever discredited by a handful of radical ideologues who are opponents of democracy and, in reality, enemies of civilisation. And we will not forget this, Norway,” he said.
Trump made these remarks in a speech to tens of thousands of people in Syracuse on Friday evening. He is the greatest communicator of all time.
The Norwegian media stand behind the prize and the committee’s reasoning. Aftenposten writes in its editorial:
Jørgen Watne Frydnes said that the prize was a signal “to those who attack and undermine the rules-based system and its institutions”.
The committee knows just as well as the media that the rules-based world order is a recent development serving a globalist world order. Its defenders attempt to link it to the founding of the UN, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Geneva Conventions and Bretton Woods.
But over time, much has changed. This was an order that the Soviet Union and other communist states sought to undermine.
The Organisation of Islamic States has now taken the place once occupied by the communist countries, and they wield a completely different kind of influence. Admittedly, there was a strong left-wing movement in European countries such as France and Italy, but they fell, in part, victim to the Red Terror, the Red Brigades and the RAF. Today’s media have completely forgotten this.
The major difference is that Europe has 50 million Muslims who are becoming increasingly self-assertive and demanding as their numbers grow.
Demographics are an absolute taboo in the Norwegian media. They are also aware of the forecasts showing that Norwegians will be in the minority in their own country in 30–40 years’ time, just like the current majority population in most other Western European countries.
The authorities seem to have long since decided to integrate Islam into Europe.
By targeting the Jews, the Nobel Committee is signalling which side they are on.
Aftenposten even goes so far as to express enthusiasm for the setting in which Pillay was informed of the award on Friday. She was in Nuremberg – not just any old place.
There, spontaneous applause broke out in Courtroom 600. This is the birthplace of international criminal law – the historic room where the Nazis were convicted of their crimes against humanity after the war.
The claim is that the Jews are the new Nazis. Could one sink any lower?
Pillay has said that Israel has committed genocide, and it is she who is being honoured by the Nobel Committee.
By awarding this prize, Norway has disgraced itself in the eyes of the world.
We are signalling to our friends and enemies which side we are on: no longer the Christian world, but the Muslim world.
The award leaves no room for misunderstanding.
