Lars Klingbeil, one of the leaders of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) and Deputy Minister-President in Friedrich Merz’s government, is calling for consideration to be given to initiating proceedings to ban the AfD, the largest party in German opinion polls. Klingbeil’s attack on the AfD is accompanied by thinly veiled allusions to Nazism.
The German company Enerparc is among Europe’s largest solar-power companies. It has now filed for insolvency. The excuse given is that ‘renewables’ are being developed faster than the electricity grid. The truth is that ‘renewables’ are not up to the job. Production cannot be regulated, and that is a colossal disadvantage in the market. The only things keeping the industry alive are massive subsidies and equally massive political folly.
