Over one million undocumented immigrants have applied for legal residence in Spain
Spain’s government opened the possibility for undocumented immigrants to apply for residence in Spain if they had lived in the country for more than five months with a clean criminal record. Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez predicted that 500,000 would apply, but as expected, he was wildly wrong.
