Why did Norway send Kravik to Tehran – A rescue mission?
Norwegian News Media (NTB) has interviewed State Secretary Andreas Kravik following his return from Tehran. It makes for bizarre reading. Both NTB and the Foreign Ministry try to play the neutral middle ground, but when dealing with a regime that has many faces and where it is unclear who actually holds power, diplomacy becomes a farce. Kravik voices no objections whatsoever. He takes the regime at face value. We know that is a major lie.

One politician forgiven, the other fired: Blatant double standards in Norwegian politics
When a Red Party politician sends threats to a citizen, it’s brushed off as “a storm in a teacup.” But when a Progress Party advisor uses words deemed racist, he is shamed, fired and expelled. Questions on this glaring double standard were sent to Mímir Kristjánsson, Sylvi Listhaug and Leif Tore Lindø. Still no answers.
