Norwegian sport has received NOK 30 million this year to get more immigrants involved in sport. The activities are to be more or less free for those concerned. The funds go particularly to sports clubs in large cities with high concentrations of immigrants and families with limited ability to pay.

It is of course legitimate to commemorate a popular king. It is quite another matter when the state broadcaster and the media machine use the funeral to obsessively push the same narrative they always push: that Norway’s greatest strength is immigration, a colourful community and identity politics, and that any objection to it is lacking in solidarity.

In the past few days alone, illegal migrants in Ceuta have surrounded a military vehicle and pelted it with stones until four soldiers had to flee on foot. Some of the attackers pursued them. We are assured that concerns about immigration are exaggerated or manipulated from abroad, until reality comes knocking at the door with stones, fire and armed escorts for schoolchildren.
