Owner of child welfare institution recruited youths to carry out aggravated theft

Child welfare entrepreneur Daniel Thomassen (35) recruited youths to carry out an aggravated theft of jewellery and watches for him. The boys had to be ‘tough little bastards’, he wrote in a text message to the man who was to recruit them. The thieves made off with valuables worth between NOK 600,000 and NOK 1 million.
