The upward adjustment of the valuation of residential property to 70 per cent of market price is not a whim. It forms part of the war against the middle class that the Democrats in the USA have waged for a number of years. The money that is to finance the replacement of the population with the unqualified and voting cattle must be taken from somewhere. Two birds are struck with one stone – the middle class is forced to sell its cabin or house, and immigrants are given the opportunity to move up.
This is reminiscent of Soviet communism: one punishes the most productive part of the population and rewards immigrants who are loyal.
Norwegians lack the imagination to envisage such cunning evil. They have regarded the state as a friend. They must stop doing so. The state is not your friend. It regards you with suspicion.
If you are a native Norwegian with roots in old Norway, you are potentially an enemy of the new Norway. Therefore surveillance, censorship and encouragement of informing are being introduced, as during the war.
It is happening so quickly that most people are unable to keep up with the turns. But when the tax is calculated, you see it in black and white. The dearest thing you have – your home – is threatened.
What is interesting is that the new valuation of residential property is the result of an initiative in which Senterpartiet participated. Those who go about hoping that Sp will change sides are living under an illusion.
The background to the tax is a “request resolution” (anmodningsvedtak) from June 2021. The proposer was, of course, Sosialistisk Venstreparti. Arbeiderpartiet, Senterpartiet and Rødt supported the proposal. In the resolution, the Government is instructed to investigate and amend the valuation method for expensive residential property so that the wealth value corresponds to a greater extent with actual market value. Barely three months later, the socialists took over governmental power.
In December 2025, that is to say four and a half years after the request resolution, Arbeiderpartiet, Sosialistisk Venstreparti, Rødt, Senterpartiet and MDG adopted the state budget for 2026, with NOK 435 million in increased housing tax. The Norwegian Tax Administration (Skatteetaten) states that it has based this on a total increase in market values of residential property of NOK 460 billion. These are homes in attractive areas in the largest cities and centrally located flats.

It takes time before a new, brutal reality sinks in.
The reason why the tax increases so violently for some is the new “grunnkretsmodellen” from Statistics Norway (Statistisk sentralbyrå, SSB), which is intended to hit market value more accurately.
When the value of your home exceeds NOK 10 million, the tax screw is tightened:
- For value up to NOK 10 million you receive a discount of 75 per cent (only 25 per cent counts as wealth).
- For value above NOK 10 million the discount is only 30 per cent. As much as 70 per cent of the excess value counts as wealth.
If you have a home that was previously valued low, but is now valued at NOK 20 million, you thus receive a double blow: both a higher base value and a smaller discount on that which exceeds NOK 10 million.

The Government sets people with lower valuations against those with higher ones. There are twice as many with low value as high. Yet 235,000 with high value nevertheless constitutes a significant number.
In recent years, Norwegians have been transformed into a flock of sheep that puts up with anything.
They have stolen cheap electricity, sold it to the Continent and imported expensive electricity. It was a robbery in broad daylight. When private finances and businesses buckle, they introduce “Norgespris”.
The Government loyally follows all EU directives. People without public sewerage must themselves bear the cost of expensive installations. The municipalities ensure that they charge well merely to process the applications relating to orders they themselves have issued. It is reminiscent of mafia methods. The installations quickly cost NOK 200,000, which is a great deal of money for an ordinary household.
In Poland, it is the state that pays the bill.
Now homeowners sit waiting for the Government to pull the EU’s Energy Directive down over their heads.
But the Government takes no account of that when it upwardly adjusts the wealth tax on homes over NOK 10 million.
People are punished for living in areas that are attractive.
They are attractive because the Government has imported hundreds of thousands of new voters, which has created pressure on the housing market.
Homes in areas with fewer immigrants are particularly valuable, precisely for that reason. For this the owners deserve to be punished.
But people cannot pay the tax with the increase in value.
– It makes no difference, says the Government. – We have the power, and we shall use it.
The intoxication with power that you see in the wealth tax can also be found in other areas. It propagates itself within the system: cutbacks in the health sector, upward adjustments to market rent for care homes. The same brutality.
The reason is, of course, the price of immigration in Oslo. But people never see the figures and do not understand the connection, even though they sense it.
The Democrats in the USA have long pursued a policy that imports new voters. In the election in 2020 they used the pandemic as a pretext to change the rules in such a way that it made massive voter fraud possible.
Trump wishes to introduce mandatory ID control at elections. The Democrats compare this to the reintroduction of racial segregation rules.
They of course know that this is nonsense, but they whip up a mood that the media exploit.
When Peter Svaar accompanies ICE on a raid in Minneapolis, it is to build up under the myth of the evil white president.
You are to feel guilty for living in “white” areas. In the USA this is used, inter alia, by the new mayor of New York, Mamdani. Expensive residential areas are to be taxed more heavily.
“White” has become a political factor. Norwegians are to be ashamed of their “white” privileges. This is spoken about in Norwegian school classrooms, but the media do not report it.
The most humanitarian society is in reality both brutal and racist.
Christian Willoch wrote at the end of 2025 an opinion piece in Budstikka in which he explained the frustration over the new calculation.
– My mother is 98 years old and lives on an ordinary old-age pension from the National Insurance Scheme (folketrygden). She has lived in the same home since it was built, and has never speculated in property or had high incomes. Nevertheless, she has now received a tax increase of around NOK 70,000. The reason is increased wealth tax on housing, because the house lies in an area in Bærum which today is defined as “expensive”, wrote Willoch.
– The tax does not take ability to pay into account. The value is unrealised, the income low and unchanged. The result is a tax deduction of around 45 per cent of the pension.
Tax pressure based on market value is something the Torvik Committee (Torvik-utvalget) touched upon. The conclusion was that it was no disaster if elderly people had to sell their homes. It would ensure rotation: advancement for groups one wishes to favour.
In the USA, the large hedge funds have entered the housing markets. They purchase hundreds of homes at a time.
Trump has said that this is contrary to the American model. To be an owner-occupier is the American dream. Trump will propose prohibiting large companies from turning Americans into tenants.
But that you will never hear about in Norwegian media.
Those who wish to flay the middle class have a plan, and elderly white Norwegians are not part of it.
