Activist and author Tommy Robinson and his co-organisers succeeded in gathering an enormous crowd of British patriots for their “Unite the Kingdom” demonstration in London on Saturday 16 May.
The police estimated that around 60,000 people took part in the “Unite the Kingdom” march. But when one sees footage of the crowd, one may gain the impression that there could have been hundreds of thousands of participants.
Despite the large number of participants, the demonstration proceeded without major incidents. People behaved peacefully, as the organisers had always urged them to do. Images show men and women of all age groups among the participants, including mothers with children.
At the same time, a pro-Palestinian demonstration with thousands of participants was also held in London. Judging from the images, those present there appeared to be a mixture of Muslims and predominantly left-wing activists.
British police warned in advance against “hate speech” during the large demonstrations. Participants in the patriotic “Unite the Kingdom” demonstration were monitored with drones and real-time facial recognition.
Samara Gill, a London-based journalist from TalkTV, was present at the pro-Palestinian counter-demonstration and filmed some of the chants. Several of them were highly aggressive.
Some of the far-left participants publicly called for the murder of Tommy Robinson, with slogans such as “Shoot him in the neck like Charlie Kirk” and demands that Robinson should be “hanged like Mussolini”.
Samara Gill writes on X: “I do not believe calls for violence from ANY side are right. Calling for someone to die goes too far”.

The American journalist Don Keith was one of several foreigners who, by the Labour government of Prime Minister Keir Starmer, were denied entry to the United Kingdom in order to participate in “Unite the Kingdom”. According to reports, the authorities claimed that these persons’ presence in the country “would not be conducive to the public good”.
Don Keith comments on this on X: “Incredible calls for the murder of Tommy Robinson. Far-left counter-protesters in London are shouting ‘Shoot him in the neck like Charlie Kirk’ and calling for the assassination of Tommy Robinson. Violent hatred is being displayed in full view, while the police, with their double standards, look the other way. This is Starmer’s Britain. Where are the arrests?”
