A young person has been taken to Ullevål hospital with a stab wound to the back after a big fight behind the Opera in Oslo on Friday evening.
Another weekend in Oslo got off to a violent and bloody start, this time also with a knife involved.
After a brutal fight at the Opera in the centre east, a youth was taken to hospital with a stab wound to the back. Another was taken to the emergency room with minor injuries.
All those involved in the case are between 14 and 16 years old and according to the police include both boys and girls.
NTB reports on the case.
The police received the initial report about the fight at 21.07.
There are two people who have been injured with a sharp object, no-one is seriously injured. Several others have minor injuries after fights. We are talking about youths, says operations manager Per-Ivar Iversen from the Oslo police district.
He states that the police have details on several people involved. How many people took part in the fight is unknown, the police said at 9.30pm.
They ran in all directions when we arrived, so we will probably never know how many were involved, says operations manager Tor Grøttum to NTB.
He says that six young boys have been identified in the log as suspects or have been detained.
Then we will see if any of them will be arrested, a decision has yet to be made.
The police have seized a knife in connection with the fight. No further information is given about the youths involved.
