With the postponement of Trollvind, we see yet another “climate project” being cancelled.
The disappointment is huge among those who believe in the climate crisis and the alleged solutions, both in the Conservative Party and in the SV. Realities and costs are difficult quantities for most politicians. The goal for the government is to make Norway a major player in offshore wind by 2030, so that the planned “electrification” and decarbonisation of society can continue and the self-imposed climate targets can be achieved. Now the plans are in jeopardy.
