A group of Chinese citizens have filed a lawsuit against the state of Florida because a new law prohibits them from buying property in parts of the state. The real estate law, set to take effect on July 1, restricts people from foreign countries of concern – defined as China, Russia, Iran, Korea, Cuba, Venezuela and Syria – from buying land and homes in Florida .
