The brief news item will never make the front page. The police officer had a name, namely Christian Zedig, but one would never have known that if NRK were one’s only news source. This is what the state broadcaster writes:
A Swedish man in his 30s died on Tuesday evening after a fight during a World Cup screening in Copenhagen, Swedish TV4 reports.
The man was a Swedish police officer.
“One of our colleagues has passed away, and we held a memorial gathering this morning,” says the head of the local police in Höglandet, Mathias Ljung.
The match between Norway and Ivory Coast was being shown on a giant screen when the altercation broke out.
The perpetrator turned himself in to the police after pictures of him were published.
That NRK ignores murders when the victim and the perpetrator do not fit its narrative is nothing new. But in this case, the victim was a Swedish police officer, the World Cup event was organised by a Norwegian company, and the violence broke out during Norway’s match against Ivory Coast immediately after Haaland scored the second goal.
This is not merely lying by omission. This is outright media denial. This is outright ideological censorship. And it is a betrayal of everyone who still believes that NRK is a source of information they can trust. Above all, it is a betrayal of Christian Zedig, our Swedish brother who had a name.

And when it concerns a Swedish police officer killed during a Norwegian World Cup event in a match involving Norway, the selective silence becomes especially striking.
We can only imagine what it would have been like if the victim had been black and the perpetrator white.

Christian Zedig leaves behind a wife and two young daughters. He had a name. He deserves the truth, not a sanitised version intended to protect an ideology and the immense damage that mass immigration in Europe entails.
The conservative commentator David J. Harris Jr., with his nearly four million followers on Facebook, writes that Scandinavians are furious after a Swedish man was beaten to death by a gang of Africans.
He was an off-duty police officer and left behind a wife and two daughters. His life mattered, writes Harris Jr., who is black.
To us, yes. But evidently not to NRK.
