Three individuals charged with arson targeting four ambulances belonging to a Jewish charitable organisation in London are to appear before Westminster Magistrates’ Court this Saturday.
The accused are Hamza Iqbal (20), Rehan Khan (19), both British citizens residing in East London, and a 17-year-old with British and Pakistani citizenship who cannot be named, reports The Times. The arson is regarded as serious and carried out with reckless disregard as to whether human life would be put at risk, writes the English newspaper.
Two other men, who were previously arrested on 25 March, have both been released on bail until the end of April.
It was early in the morning on 23 March that four ambulances belonging to the organisation Hatzola were set on fire in Golders Green, north-west of the British capital.
The investigation is being led by counter-terrorism police, but the three young men have not been charged with terrorism.
