The Epstein scandal has hit the Norwegian public like a bombshell, and now the entire elite team is hoping that the Olympics will take the focus away from the unpleasantness, so that the army of PR agents and lawyers will have time to do their job. I’m not going to spend time digging into the dirt, but rather point out two connections that other media don’t want you to think about.
First, let me tell you something important about celebrities and socialites
Celebrities galore met each other in Epstein’s spider web and pulled other celebrities into it, so it grew and grew – and it’s no wonder: Celebrities prefer to socialise only with celebrities, because only among their peers can they show their weaknesses, shed their masks and myths, and know that no one will gossip. That’s why you’ll never get invited to a celebrity party (I have, but I never kiss and tell).
Since you’re non-celebrity, no one knows who you are, so no one trusts you. No one has anything on you, and no one knows if you’re taking photos and film and selling it to See & Hear the next day. This paranoia is not irrational: Celebrities need a closed network they can trust, because even royals are just people like the rest of us and most people like a “safe space” and discretion.
Celebrities are idolised, held to higher standards and regarded as some kind of “superhuman” by the general public, but in reality most are just normal mediocrities with bingo luck. Like Mette Marit Rex. And it’s not unusual for ordinary mediocrities to like bling, parties, cocaine, sex and other fun things. What’s not to like?
Of course, it’s important to hide these weaknesses, otherwise you’re just a normal everyday person – and for jealous heads of state and the like, that’s a fate worse than death. And with all that in mind, we can look at two factors that are the most interesting about the Epstein scandal.
Firstly: This is no surprise
The Epstein case is being portrayed as a scandal and a case that comes as a bombshell to the Norwegian aristocracy of champagne socialists and globalist swarmers. It is not. In fact, the Epstein case has been simmering in the Norwegian public sphere ever since Epstein was convicted of abusing minors in 2008. Everyone pretends to be stunned and shocked, but it’s all just PR and obfuscation.
Absolutely everyone in the triangle between the Palace, the Storting and the media has known what Epstein was up to. Everyone knew that this was a spider with his own web to catch and smoke celebrities with low self-control and no integrity, for his own benefit. This was the job of the uneducated Epstein spider.
Everyone knew what was going on. Everyone knew what Epstein had to offer. The whole of Akersgata knows exactly who has done what, and what they wanted out of the networking. And everyone has been biting their nails since the threat of releasing the files surfaced when Epstein committed suicide in 2019 (because, as everyone knows, it’s pretty much impossible to commit lethal violence in an American prison, or organise a hanging, but whatever).
What is relevant is that now it’s super-important to act really surprised and pretend no one knew about the army of skeletons Epstein created. The solution is to sacrifice some of your circle of friends to the indignant volcano, be deeply shocked and say “I’m sorry” to NRK. Then you can carry on as before, with the same status as before.
Secondly: Show me who you network with and I’ll tell you who you are
So what do you do if you’re a celebrity and need to choose the networks and communities you want to socialise with? Do you choose the friends you had from the general public? Njeh… Do you choose the network of conservative, cautious, right-wing people and media, those who read Document and have some sympathy for anti-globalist politicians who work for their own country and voters? Njeh…
Associating with this network will, of course, provoke criticism, resentment and accusations of associating with far-right extremists and hateful racists, precisely by the mob that gathered around Epstein. They want to ban you. Besides, this is a network that expects high standards, integrity, self-control, and doesn’t have much in the way of bling, parties, cocaine and sex. You’re missing the party!
That’s why the entire elite Norway chose the Epstein network of globalists in droves: Because all its friends were already involved, precisely because it has no standards, no requirements, no self-control, and is run by an abusive networker who promises discretion and free flow of fun.
The thoroughly corrupt chose the thoroughly corrupt. See? They found it easier to associate with abuse convict Epstein than to agree to an interview with Document, have a soft spot for Charlie Kirk or show sympathy for a policy that will make your own country «Great Again». And they did this on autopilot for fear of missing out, being criticised or standing for something in public.
Let it sink in. Only then will you realise who and what is running Norway. People who lack everything except money.
