National broadcaster devotes just 72 words to murdered Swedish police officer as other media sanitise the case

The police officer had a name: Christian Zedig. Yet NRK chose not to mention it. That the state broadcaster ignores murders when the victim and the perpetrator do not fit its preferred narrative is nothing new. But in this case, Zedig was a Swedish police officer, the World Cup fan event was organised by a Norwegian company, and the violence erupted during Norway’s match against Ivory Coast immediately after Haaland scored the second goal.
