Masked protesters strike back in Belfast

The authorities in Northern Ireland are nervous and alarmed after masked individuals attacked a bus, an Asian shopping centre, and a police vehicle. The anger stems from the fact that a Sudanese asylum seeker came close to killing an Irishman in broad daylight on a public street. Without the intervention of bystanders, Stephen Ogilvie would have been killed. Yet the authorities appear more concerned with condemning the public reaction than with the attack itself.
